Product Information

There are many parasite control products available on the market. Some are more effective than others or may be safer to use. We feel it is our responsibility to evaluate these products regularly and recommend the ones that are best for your pet. These recommendations change as the products and parasites themselves change. Here are our current recommendations:

Flea/Tick Prevention
Comfortis® (dogs) - fleas, monthly tablet

Preventic® Collar (dogs) - kills ticks up to 3 months

Heartworm Prevention
TriHeart Plus® (dogs) - also controls roundworms and hookworms, monthly chewable tablet

Advantage Multi® (dogs and cats) - also fleas and intestinal worms as well as ear mites in cats, monthly topical application

Special Diets
We carry a complete line of Purina Veterinary Diets as well as many of the Royal Canin, Iams and Hill's Prescription Diet products.
