Our Veterinarians
G. Noell Moseley, DVM, DABVP
Dr. Noell Moseley graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary
Medicine
in 1971. He helped found Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital in 1974, and is one of
the founders of Southwind Animal Hospital.
Dr. Moseley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners
with a specialty in Canine and Feline practice.

(ABVP™) seeks to promote the highest of standards in contemporary veterinary
clinical practice.
Dr. Moseley's areas of special interest in
practice include neurology, ultrasound, and internal medicine.
Outside of veterinary medicine his passions are computers and golf. Noell and
his wife Betsy have four children—Carol, George, Daniel and Katie, and three
grandchildren. Betsy is an organist and creator of heirloom clothing for
children. They are ruled by four dogs—two dachshunds, a doberman and a miniature
pinscher. The Moseleys are members of Germantown Presbyterian Church.

Barden A. Greenfield, DVM
Dr. Barden Greenfield is a 1985 graduate of Mississippi
State University college of Veterinary Medicine. He is presently in
a dual-tracking residency with the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and the
American Veterinary Dental College. He is head of dentistry at Southwind
Animal Hospital where he performs routine annual dental exams and cleanings
as well as advanced periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics and oral
surgery.
Dr. Greenfield is on the Board of Directors of the American
Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS) and the Leadership Council of the American
Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). He conducts teaching labs and lectures
to local and regional veterinarians on the topic of veterinary dentistry and
is passionate about promoting and elevating veterinary dental care.
Dr. Greenfield was the founder of Germanwood Animal Hospital
in Memphis in 1988, and practiced there until joining Hickory Ridge Animal
Hospital in 2000. He is one of the founding partners of Southwind Animal
Hospital.
Dr. Greenfield is originally from the Nashville area, and
has lived in Memphis since 1985. He has a wonderful wife, Allison, and three
children - Bentley, Ellie Bridges, and Nathaniel. He enjoys duck hunting as
well as golf. They have a house full of pets having three cats and two dogs.
The Greenfields are members of Independent Presbyterian Church.

Genie Gebhart Hooker, DVM
Dr. Genie Hooker is a 1992 graduate of Auburn University College of
Veterinary
Medicine. Following her experience as the managing veterinarian in an emergency
clinic, she has devoted her career to private practice in Shelby County. In l995
Dr. Hooker acquired the Animal Clinic at Shelby Square, which she more than
doubled in size before she became a founding partner of Southwind Animal
Hospital.
Dr. Hooker enjoys caring for both dogs and cats. Her special practice interests
include internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, client education and staff
management.
Outside the clinic, her interests are horseback riding, motorcycles and keeping
pace with her daughter, Cassie, and her son, Matthew. Dr. Hooker and her
husband, Tracy, live on a
small farm in Eads, and are members of Hope Presbyterian Church.

Pamela J. Chandler, DVM
Dr. Chandler graduated from Mississippi State University, College of
Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She acquired Kirby Gate Animal Hospital, Memphis,
in 1996 and practiced there before merging with Southwind in 2006. Dr.
Chandler's areas of interest include internal medicine, arthritis/lameness, and
veterinary acupuncture. She received her certification through the International
Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1992.

Dr. Chandler has a degree in business management and worked in business for
several years before finally pursuing her real life passion of becoming a
veterinarian. She also served as an officer in the Army Reserve Corps of
Veterinarians until resigning her commission in 1995.
When not caring for her patients, you will usually find her on the golf course
or playing with her 3 cats-- Lucy, Mikey and Junior. Dr. Chandler is originally
from Clarksdale, MS and is still a member of Clarksdale Presbyterian Church.
