Cat & Dog Vaccinations & Checkups

Routine Checkups

Routine checkups, at least once a year, allow us to identify and treat any developing health issues before they become serious. 

Each checkup includes a complete physical exam, routine vaccinations, as well as blood and urine screening.

Regular checkups also allow your vet to monitor your pet's diet, and provide nutritional advice as needed. 

• Puppies & Kittens

  Just like children, puppies and kittens need to get off to a good start. Beginning at about 6 weeks of age these fur babies need our attention.

  We’ll start your new arrival with a thorough physical exam, important immunizations, a test for intestinal parasites, deworming medication, and information about how to care for your pet. We'll also give you a puppy or kitten kit with samples and loads of educational material.

  Please be sure to ask us any questions you have about caring for your new pet. We’ll then see you back for additional visits until the vaccination series has been completed.

• Seniors

  Regular evaluations are extremely important for senior pets, and our senior pets are living longer due to advances in medical knowledge, newer therapies and better nutrition.

  In addition to the routine wellness procedures we perform on adult animals, senior pets will receive special attention to age related issues such as arthritis or decreased vision. Additional laboratory tests will also help you assess your pet’s overall health.

Parasite Prevention

Memphis is in the epicenter of heartworm disease, fleas, ticks and parasites. Because dogs and cats are susceptible to these unwanted critters, regular preventive medications for protecting against these parasites are essential.

We carry a full line of parasite prevention products that are safe and effective for your pet.

Microchipping

Dog and cat collars with a name and phone number tag are helpful, but outdated and not as effective. They can break or fall off easily, whereas the microchip is permanent and can’t be separated from the pet.

One of the most effective means of protecting your dog or cat from being lost or stolen is microchipping them.
