Dr. Amy Cooper, a native Memphian, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and moved back to her hometown shortly thereafter. She worked at Shelby Center Hospital for Animals for seven years before joining Southwind Animal Hospital.
Dr. Cooper is passionate about preventative medicine and has a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine, feline medicine, and dermatology. She is a certified weight coach for Purina™ and is happy to help those fluffy pets get back into their optimal body condition.
Dr. Cooper and her husband have two small daughters that keep them on their toes constantly. Her favorite past time is traveling. She also enjoys photography and graphic design.
